Where industrial data meets real-time intelligence, unifying OT and IT in a single, AI-powered platform for faster, smarter decisions.
1. Faster Data Access: Fusion securely delivers industrial data to your cloud rapidly, enabling AI/ML insights. Fusion streams in your historical data, real-time streaming data, asset hierarchy and metadata directly into Fabric’s Real-time Intelligence (RTI).
2. Seamless Integration: 1st party connectors to multiple sources such as Aveva PI, OPC-UA, Aspen IP.21, Rockwell Automation, GeoSCADA and Ignition as well as IoT sensors.
3. Reusable Standard Queries: Fusion Data Hub enables rapid access to common RTI use cases by delivering a library of prebuilt, reusable analytics queries tailored for typical scenarios. These standard queries simplify integration, minimize custom coding, and empower users to achieve faster time-to-value with consistent, reliable results.
4. Cost Efficiency: Fabric’s integrated capacity model lets multiple workloads share resources. By running Fusion in Fabric, organizations reduce overhead with shared compute.
5. Unified Platform & Advanced Analytics: Microsoft Fabric brings together all data sources and analytics tools into a centralized, enterprise-grade ecosystem, featuring OneLake for unified storage, low-code/no-code automation, real-time streaming and alerting, tightly integrated AI and Copilot capabilities, and seamless Microsoft 365/Power BI collaboration. These features simplify data management, accelerate analytics, and empower both technical and business teams to drive rapid innovation with Fusion Data Hub workloads
Step 1. Connect your OT/IIoT systems.
Fusion’s on-prem or edge agents link directly to PI, OPC-UA, PLCs, DCS, etc. – no custom coding needed.
Step 2. Consolidate and contextualize data.
Fusion ingests raw tags and applies your asset hierarchies and data models, creating a structured, cloud-ready dataset.
Step 3. Publish to Fabric OneLake.
The curated industrial dataset is streamed into Fabric’s OneLake (via Fusion’s Fabric integration). All historical and real-time OT data now lives alongside ERP/CMMS data.
Step 4. Analyze & Act.
Use Fabric’s analytics (Power BI, Synapse, ML) on the fused dataset to generate dashboards and alerts. Apply Azure AI to predict maintenance or optimize processes. Results flow back into Fusion for edge-to-cloud orchestration.
